About Liquid Sun

Brisbane Alternative Rock

Liquid Sun is a five-piece alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia, combining guitar-driven rock, energetic live performances and influences spanning indie rock, punk and classic Australian rock.

Active in Brisbane's music scene since 2020, Liquid Sun consists of Robbie Harris (vocals), Johno Russell (guitar), Gus Oostenbroek (guitar), Hudson Seefeld (bass) and Oscar Holt (drums).

Drawing inspiration from artists including Powderfinger, Jet, Foo Fighters and Paramore, the band creates original music rooted in alternative rock.

Liquid Sun has performed at Brisbane venues including Crowbar, The Brightside and The Triffid. In 2025, the band won a heat of QUT's Battle of the Bands competition and celebrated the release of its DNA EP with a launch show at Crowbar Brisbane.

With a growing catalogue of original releases and a continued presence in Brisbane's independent music scene, Liquid Sun brings its own take on alternative rock to audiences across the city.
